ATMOSPHERE INTELLIGENCE
THE COLORNUDGE METHOD
WE DON'T BEGIN WITH THE SPACE. WE BEGIN WITH THE HUMAN BEING
The Colornudge Method explores how our physical surroundings influence the way we feel, think, connect and behave.
WHY ATMOSPHERE MATTERS
A space is never just what we see
Our surroundings influence us in ways we don't always consciously notice.
The light that welcomes us. The colors that surround us. The materials we touch. The sounds we hear. And the atmosphere that shapes how we feel when we enter a space. A room can be beautiful without feeling welcoming. Functional without creating connection. Carefully designed without truly considering the people who use it.
When we begin to understand these invisible influences, we can create spaces that give something back.
THE COLORNUDGE APPROACH
Understanding how spaces make people feel, connect and behave.
01 · OBSERVE
We begin by looking beyond the appearance of a space. We explore its purpose, the people who use it, and how the surroundings are experienced.
02 · UNDERSTAND
We examine how light, color, materials, sensory impressions and atmosphere interact with human needs and behavior.
03 · SHAPE
We translate our observations into thoughtful recommendations and strategic direction, creating spaces with greater intention and purpose.

ATMOSPHERE AS STRATEGY
From Understanding to Strategy
Understanding a space is only the beginning.
The real value lies in what we do with that understanding.
Through The Colornudge Method, we explore how physical surroundings can better support the people who use them — their needs, their activities and the experiences we want to create.
Because atmosphere should never be an afterthought. It can become an intentional part of how we design, develop and transform spaces.
THE VALUE
Spaces that give something back.
Clarity — Understand how your surroundings influence the people who use them.
Direction — Identify opportunities to improve atmosphere, experience and everyday interactions.
Purpose — Make more intentional decisions about light, color, materials and spatial design.
From insight to practical recommendations that help spaces better support the people within them.
BEHIND COLORNUDGE
Rosemai Holm
I don't just look at a space.
I look at what happens to us when we're in it.
That curiosity has always shaped the way I experience our surroundings.
I notice the light, the colors, the materials and the atmosphere. But most of all, I notice how a place can influence the way we feel, connect and interact — often without us consciously realizing why.
Over time, this perspective became the foundation of Colornudge. And today, it is what drives my work with The Colornudge Method — exploring how we can create spaces with greater awareness, intention and understanding of the people who use them.
Because I believe our surroundings should do more than look beautiful. They should give something back.
Rosemai
A space cannot change who we are. But it can create the conditions for us to become the best version of ourselves.
